About The Elder Spores Online

Who We Are

The Elder Spores Online is an independently built community platform for Elder Scrolls Online players, created and maintained by Reishi Spores — an ESO content creator, Stream Team Member, and passionate player with years of experience in the game's combat systems, character builds, and community.

This platform is not affiliated with Bethesda Softworks, ZeniMax Online Studios, or any parent company. It is a labor of love, built by a player, for players.

Why We Built This

ESO has one of the most complex and rewarding character building systems of any MMORPG — but finding, sharing, and understanding builds has always been fragmented across forums, YouTube videos, and Discord servers. There was no single dedicated place where players could create a build interactively, see real stat calculations and dynamic tooltips update in real time, and share the result directly with the community, whether for others to follow, or to simply ask for advice.

The Elder Spores Online was created to be that place. The philosophy behind everything here is simple: Let's Grow — build and strenthen the ESO community, not turn every last oportunity into a competition. Whether you are a veteran min-maxer or a new player trying to understand your first skill bar and how to arrange various set combinations, this platform is designed to meet you where you are, and help you find what you need.

What We Offer

At the core of this project is a fully interactive Build Editor — free to use with no account required. It features reverse-engineered ESO combat formulas, real-time stat and buff calculations across in detail, complete gear set selection, skill line, morph, and scribing choices for all seven ESO classes, champion point allocation, and consumable slots. What you see in the editor reflects what your character actually can do in game. Our advanced search options and filtering can help even veteran players find alternative options to the over popular meta sets at any given time. Play your way, and have fun.

The Community Builds page lets creators, and players alike, share their completed builds publicly, browse builds by class and role, upvote their favorites, discover creators from across the ESO community, and even ask for help or suggestions on their own builds. Featured creators and builds are highlighted to help surface the best new content the community has to offer, as well as seasonal or event themed ideas that our creators have shared.

Registered users can save builds to the cloud, load them across devices, and vote and/or comment on the ever-growing library of community shared builds. Subscription tiers offer expanded build slots, public build sharing, and build a public creator profile along with other additional platform features. Considering our background with Live Streaming on Twitch and Kick, we even have included an innovative gifted subscription system, of our own,that allows members to give subscriptions directly to the free community.

The Elder Spores Online is a passion project with real operating costs — servers, database hosting, domain, and ongoing development all require continued investment. Keeping the platform up and running for all players depends on the support of the community it serves.
